Free Printable Advent Calendar, Easy Christmas Craft

It’s almost December 1st when the 24 days of December will be counted leading up to the celebration of Christmas.  The whole family can enjoy counting the days with an Advent calendar, and you’ll never have to answer “How many days to Christmas”?    In today’s world, expensive calendars and kits can be purchased for celebrating Advent, but there’s no reason to spend lots of money. Here’s a few ideas on being ready for the holiday.

If you’re a DIY type of person, you might want to create your own calendar. A simple Christmas craft where you use a regular December calendar and mark days off with dollar store Christmas stickers or a red highlighter.  Let the kids take turns putting a sticker on each morning.  It works better if it is separate from a bound calendar.  Need a single month calendar?   This December 2017 calendar is available for download on my blog, Comfort Spring. Print and you’re ready to go.

I love playing with graphics and sharing the results.  Today I have a colorful red Advent Calendar; you can print it on paper up to  11″ x 14″.  Print it on thicker stock for a great holiday look. Put it up with decorations, and the kids can easily keep track of the days. Print it yourself or at a local store like Office Depot for a low price.  Since it isn’t based on the December 2017 calendar, you can reuse this printable in the future.
